Touching Alexander, Davie and Rowan County lines while separated from Catawba County, by the Catawba River (comprised of Lookout Shoals & Lake Norman), our district covers all or a portion of 10 fire districts, equaling to approximately 245 square miles and an estimated population of 67,000 citizens.   

We also cover the largest portion of interstate, in Iredell County. We run the entirety of I-40, from the 141mm (Catawba/Iredell), extending 21 miles to the 162mm (Davie/Iredell). On I-77, we run from the 46mm (just south of Statesville), north 13 miles to the 59mm (in Union Grove). In addition, we cover five major highways, numerous city streets, county roads, and the Statesville Regional Airport.
